About Our Blog

The accelerated growth of information combined with changing requirements for access to this information is creating an inflection point in the way in which IT manages and protects data. This blog is designed to discuss the challenges of information protection and to provide insight into the evolution that is taking place. This is an open blog lead by industry experts, created by EMC practitioners in the information protection space. This blog will discuss information protection solutions that are aimed at solving some of there most difficult challenges by leveraging new technologies and investigating new processes in an effort to put you on the ‘Road to Recovery’.

Our Beliefs: The Inalienable Rights of Data
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all data (while not created equal) will be offered equal protection capabilities; that it is endowed by it’s creator with inherent and inalienable rights; that among these are availability, protection and the pursuit of achievability; that to secure this data, data protection technologies are instituted among IT infrastructure deriving its power from the information that is created; that whenever any form of protection becomes less effective; it is the right of IT personnel to alter or abolish traditional methods for next generation methods, laying a foundation on such principles, and organization its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect its ‘safety’ and lifecycle.

    Hi guys,
Outlook 2007 is preventing me from adding your blog’s RSS feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/BackupBeyond).

I get a message stating that “Outlook cannot process the RSS content. The link may not point to a valid RSS source.”

Any idea of what I can do to solve this problem?

Note: I think this may be a feedburner issue, since I can subscribe to other blogs (e.g. Chuck’s Blog, Storagezilla).

    Thanks,
    Gil
